JOIN US IN CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WALK & ROLL TO SCHOOL MONTH THIS OCTOBER!
October is International Walk & Roll to School Month! Join us - and kids from all over the world - on International Walk & Roll to School DAY on Wednesday, October 7th We also encourage you to walk & roll to school or anywhere (from home or from a drop-off spot a reasonable distance away from school), as often as you can this school year, and to complete our "Be A Walk & Roll Advertiser" Challenge / Desafío de promover el Caminar y Rodar to inspire others to safely walk, bike, scoot, or skate to/from school!
Please mark your Calendars with these Walk & Roll Dates for Fall 2026:
Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026 International Walk & Roll Day
Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026 Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day (officially Saturday, Nov. 14th)
We will have planned meet-up spots on Oct. 7 and Nov. 4, and a welcome table as students arrive at the front of the school with stickers and other prizes for those who participate!
For students who live farther away, you can to a spotj near Sequoia, and then park and walk (or roll) from there. Here is a video for some inspiration:
